The Most Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why rent a micro-fridge?
* So that the No-Hassle team of Huskie Rentals can make it easy for a student to have one available to them without having to bring it from home or take it home at the end of the year.
* We provide an easy login system to check pick-up dates, drop-off dates, refunds, deals, and other helpful tips.
* We know you have a lot to do, so we help you take care of the details.

2. What do I do with it over the Winter Break?
* Please follow the Guidelines Outlined by the ResEd office.
* Please leave the unit unplugged, clean, with doors open, and food free.

3. If you're not coming back for school for the second semester:
* Please let us know ASAP so we can make arrangements to pick up the unit. * If you fail to inform us of your leaving without sufficient time before the residence hall closes, you will incur a fee of $50.00

4. What do I do with it at the end of the year?
* Please visit the site at the end of the year; a pickup schedule will be posted on the site and in your account.

5. What if I'm leaving before the end of the year?
* Please inform us. Your options are to either let a roommate or classmate take over the contract or arrange for an early pickup.

6. What size are microfridges and/or how much floor space is used?
* Dimensions are listed in the shopping cart for the unit.

7. What colors are available?
* Micro-Fridges all have a high gloss black finish.
* Super Maxi, Maxi and Standard Mini are brown with walnut doors. (May not be available for all schools)

8. Do you sell units?
* Yes. After rental of a unit an option to purchase is provided in your account.

9. Where are my ice cube trays?
* We don't provide ice cube trays. You can get them at most drug stores or grocery stores for less than a dollar. We have found that students won't complain if their ice cubes aren't the desired size - it also alleviates any concerns about the sanitation processes used.

10. Do you have any more information about the units (like usage, cleaning, or troubleshooting)?
